It is not an official legal edition of the CFR. The e-CFR is an editorial compilation of CFR material and Federal Register amendments produced by the National Archives and Records Administration's Office of the Federal Register (OFR) and the Government Publishing Office. Tax forms generally arrive the last week in January. Library staff cannot answer any tax-related questions. Please discuss any questions you may have with the IRS, the Wisconsin Department of Revenue, or a tax professional. For multi-part forms or business tax forms, please consult the IRS or the Wisconsin Department of Revenue.
We will have the following options available to library patrons for federal tax information:
- Pick up a copy of forms and instructions for Form 1040 while supplies last.
- Visit www.irs.gov/formspubs to view and download forms and publications.
- Visit www.irs.gov/orderforms to order tax products to be delivered by mail.
- Call 1-800-829-3676 to order tax products to be delivered by mail.
- Print off forms and publications at the library from the IRS website for a fee of $0.10 per page.
Options for state tax information:
- Pick up a copy of forms and instructions for Wisconsin Form 1, 1NPR, Rent Certificate, Schedule H, Schedule H-EZ, or Schedule WD while supplies last.
- Visit www.revenue.wi.gov/Pages/HTML/formpub.aspx to view and download forms.

- Call (608) 266-2486 for delivery by mail.
