10 - 11:30 am

If you want to engage in a fun, seasonal family activity while spreading some kindness and joy, then grab your hats and gloves and join us for Snowman Saturdays. Give the gift of your time and creativity to make a magical view of snow friends for local  residents of senior living communities to see and enjoy from the warmth and comfort of their homes. The library will provide complimentary kits to registered families on the day of the event. PRE-REGISTRATION is REQUIRED. The kit is a great place to start, but families can also personalize their “jolly, happy soul” with props from home too. If you don’t want to build a snowman, feel free to build snow animals or other snow sculptures that residents will be able to see from their window. The program will take place completely OUTSIDE! During these trying times, remember it’s the small things that matter, like building a snowman for a smile. The snowmen may be temporary, but your act of kindness shows the warmth and compassion our community has for its senior citizens.
