Ask an Arborist: Tree Planting

Alison Holets of Canopy Climbers LLC will take us through the steps of planting a tree well, including considerations such as the types of trees to plant, location, soil type, and more. Attendees can enter to win a tree seedling! The tree seedlings, donated by the Chief River Nursery Company, will be Shagbark Hickory and Allegheny Serviceberry.

The presentation will take place on Thursday, March 30 at 6:00 PM, room 12/14 of the Baraboo Civic Center, 124 2nd St.

Alison Holets is an ISA certified arborist who has been working in the tree industry for 7 years. Alison and her partner Walt have been operating Canopy Climbers LLC in Baraboo, WI for the past 4 years. When she isn't climbing trees, she enjoys spending her time gardening, dog training, and crafting.
